Gettin' Dirtayyyy!

So I am posting two blogs tonight. I haven't had time to since I have been training for my new job, but I wanted to post about my anniversary trip and how AWESOME my mother is! While we were in Monterey, my Mom and her friends did a mud run(which consists of climbing five foot walls, diving into mud puddles, doing push ups, crawling in the mud, etc..). And for those of you who don't know my mom, she DOES NOT like running or dirt. She made it all 5 MILES! She did a great job and didn't even look winded at the end! I am very proud that she finished in under an hour and half. I know I would have been crawling across the finish line, Im sure that beer at mile 3 helped give a push though ;) Proud of you Mama! I love you!

A little early anniversary love.

The 22nd is Mine and Zach's anniversary. We will be spending one night at the beautiful Cambria Pines Lodge, and then we will head up the coast and spend two nights in Monterey and adventure around there. I am so excited, we both really need this little get a way! In perfect timing before I start my new job!

You are truly the light of my life and my best friend, everyday I feel more and more thankful that God blessed me with such an amazing man in my life. You are such a strong, patient, caring, sweet, intelligent, hard working man and I am thankful you have all these great qualities. You inspire me to become a better person everyday, even when it doesn't seem that way. Our relationship hasn't been perfect, but I would never change a minute of it. You treat me with respect and love and I am thankful for that. All I can say is that I am so excited to see what the next years of our lives bring us. New job, New experiences, New things.

Since June of last year I have been working at the Courtyard by Marriott, but as of yesterday I am now an official employee of Olive Garden in San Luis Obispo. I am so excited to start this new experience in my life! Its going to be such a blast working with my peers and learning all about Italian food and wines. I am totally and COMPLETELY scared of their menu, it is HUGE! But Im willing to take on the challenge! We open April 2nd! Very excited for a new adventure in my career.

You both are finally 3 years old, and I could swear it was just yesterday when we were sitting in that waiting room waiting for the newest additions to our family.

I am so proud of you and how intelligent you are, just like Dad is. You are growing into a handsome young boy and you are the biggest lover with the biggest heart. I love you unconditionally little brother, Could never imagine my life with out you.
Ella, Stinks, Baby sis- 
You are quite the little social butterfly. You are beautiful (like your mommy) and so sweet and caring (like Dad). You melt my heart every time I come over and you are so excited to see me. You are so smart. I am so proud to have a little sister like you. I love you with all my heart and could never imagine being with out a little sister like you.

Becks do NOT like goodbyes...

The last couple days Zach and I have been in Morgan Hill visiting my "aunt" Sandee and my "uncle" Earl, they are just about the best most real people you will ever meet. I haven't laughed so hard in such a long time, for everyone who knows my uncle Earl his laughter is extremely contagious. I tell them everytime I go to their house that I love that it has never changed, they still have the same wall hanging things on their walls from when I was little. Zach and I realized that I turn into a child and melt everytime we are getting to their house hoping that I might hear the chiming of the ice cream man that I used to patiently wait for by the door when I was little, I get so happy that the same little doughnut/ burger place(yes they are a weird combo but hey who doesn't love burgers and doughnuts?)is still there! And my favorite memory is being able to go to breakfast with uncle Earl every morning! Yes he goes to breakfast every morning like clock work. 8 am and he is there. I could not wait to share all these memories with Zach. He had the best time, and they totally and completely stole his heart and now they are his aunt and uncle too. This morning when uncle Earl took Zach and I to breakfast at his usual hang out the lady asked him are those your grand kids? I heard him reply yes they are. It made me melt inside. They aren't my real aunt and uncle they are my grandmas best friends, he doesn't have to claim me but he does, I feel completely blessed. Leaving today was so hard for some reason,for the first time leaving there I started to tear up as we pulled away, I just love them so much and my time with them is so special. I hate goodbyes, I get this from my dad. But I know it's never goodbye it's just an ill see ya later! Missing them already and only a half hour down the road.

For the last couple of days Zach has been working out on his families ranch doing a little remodel for the renters. I took him and Kaj some lunch yesterday and  met my dad out there with the kids and Meghan. We had fun shooting guns out on the property! Even Max and Ella wanted a try!

So.... patriotic?

Today I saw a news reading that a local soldier is coming home, all I can think is THANK YOU GOD FOR BRINGING ANOTHER SOLDIER HOME SAFE!! I have a some what of a soft spot REALLY BIG soft spot for things like this, I think it might just be that I could never imagine not seeing my Dad for months at a time. For those of you who know me, know that I am a total Daddy's girl. I get teary eyed when ever I see Dads, Moms, Wives, Husbands, Sons, Daughters, ANYONE coming home or watch any videos that have to do with coming home. ( I bawled through the whole movie "Brothers") I work around military all day long, they stay at the hotel and I get to serve them breakfast and when they say thank you I think NO thank YOU for letting me live in the land of the free. Thank YOU for being away from your family for so long so I can rest in peace with mine at night. Thank YOU for letting me get to do what ever I want while your being ordered around.. So I want to say a big THANK YOU to all the men and women who fight for this country and their wives, husbands and kids.. and I wanted to share a video that yes, I bawl when I watch it, and a music video of a song I love. 

Projects on cold days.

Today I had a project set in with a wine cabinet that my Mom decided to give us, and a dresser that Zach's Dad gave us. I had a some what of a vision of what I wanted to do and THANKFULLY my aunt is totally artistic, and came over today to help me an hour and a half later BOOM it was done! She is so awesome (Thank you Aunt Tanya!)  so here are some before and after pictures of our ugly wine cabinet and ugly dresser!

Couches!

So, Since it is recent that I have moved out into an actual house and out of my studio we needed a couch! I have been stalking craigslist and so has my mom for couches. I found a few I liked from the same dealer so we went and looked at them and spent about an hour in the warehouse looking at all the different things they had (but of course we were on a budget). 460$ later we found an awesome couch! Thank you to the best boyfriend ever, it is now ours!!! I will post pictures later, the only bummer we dont get it for 10 days!

Today I realized that I have not seen my family often. Everyday I have about 4 missed calls with at least 3 voicemails and 7 notifications on Facebook from people in my family, and although I have my phone practically glued to my hand I never get around to calling them back! So I decided it is time to make a blog, So I can blog about what is going on in my life and keep them all updated on my life and of course Zach (my boyfriend) and Kaiah's (our dog) lives as well. We have been working like fools getting our new house put together, did I mention we are in the middle of moving?, so it has been crazy around here and THANKFULLY my dad has been over to help with construction, because we all know Zach is good at what he does but is clueless when it comes to construction (sorry babe!). Or maybe its just  no one does things like your dad does? I dont know. But I have cleaned a million times it seems like and done 50 loads of laundry and there are still a million things to do! On top of it I have been baking like a crazy person (something that really relaxes me in times of stress, and I AM STRESSSED!) My awesome parents got me all the baking goodies when I moved conveniently around christmas time! My brand new kitchenaide has been worked to the bone, cookies, peanut butter brownies, all the favorites around here!
